Synonyms Quiz
We have been studying about synonyms and antonyms and we will have a quiz about this next week.
Think about the following points...
- What is a synonym?
- Why do we use synonyms?
- Where can we find synonyms?
- What is an antonym?
- Change the word for an antonym
- Synonyms for the words: "good" + "nice" + "bad". Also think about using them in the correct context.
Readers' Workshop Speech Q1
Dear students
You will be making a short speech next week about your favourite book you have read so far this (academic) year.
You need to include the following points in your speech:
- Short summary of your book (no longer than 1 minute)
- Choose 5 objects which are important to your book and explain why they are important
- Recommend your book to a type of person and explain why they'd like it
Explanations:
1. What should be in a summary? Characters, setting, plot
2. 5 real life objects.
